Very good proper traditional Yemeni cuisine, almost all of the staff are Yemeni so rest assured that you’re not getting ripped off. Highly recommend the Chicken Mandi.

Top notch food.Bone broth starters, fantastic.I had the Lamb Haneedh, super soft meat, and beautifully spiced. Subtley fragranced rice, 1st class.Very popular. I wanted to sit down with my adult kids, but the wait was long, so we ordered to take away. Even had to wait for that, but it was well worth the wait, superb value too

I recently visited THE SOUTH KITCHEN for the first time, and I was thoroughly impressed by the authentic taste of the Arabic dishes and the staff was very friendly. The flavors were spot on, reminding me of my experiences in the Arab world. Every dish was rich in spices and seasonings, just as I remembered from my travels. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it feel like a true slice of the Middle East in the heart of London. If you're craving genuine Arabic cuisine, this place is a must-try!

I recently dined at the South Kitchen restaurant, and it was a delightful experience. The key dish, Laham Mandi, was an absolute highlight. The meat was not only tender but generously portioned, and the rice had a perfect balance of seasonings, making every bite a savory delight. The tahina sauce complemented the dish beautifully.The restaurant's ambiance, with its Arabic style, added to the overall experience. It transported me to a different world, enhancing the enjoyment of the meal.Moreover, the rice quality was excellent, and the portion size was generous, ensuring you leave with a satisfied palate. If you're looking for an authentic Mandi experience with great food and atmosphere, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit.

Amazing Yemeni food. No fancy place but my godnes the food is absolutely to die for!

The best Mandi I've had outside of KSA. The chicken was soft and juicy and the lamb was tender and just right. It's rare for places to get both perfect, but these guys have managed it. Table seating and floor seating options for the authenticity and the vibe is immaculate. The seating area is downstairs, we were a bit confused too. Brush up on your Arabic before you go :). Left the plate polished!

The lamb and chicken mandi were delicious and I really enjoyed the Adeni tea as well. Would highly recommend the fresh bread as well. It was my second visit and can’t wait for the next.
